The Department of Forest Resource Management (FRM), College of Forestry, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, invites applications from qualified candidates to fill up one (01) Research Associate (RA) position on a temporary basis in the project entitled “Establishment of centre for geospatial research, education and training (GREAT)”. Interested candidates who meet the requirements may submit their applications in the prescribed format which is available at NAU website, www.nau.in. The application form must be precisely filled out and properly signed and then submitted to “The Principal and Dean, College of Forestry, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, 396 450, Gujarat” on or before 02/03/2026, before office hours, along with self-attested documents pertaining to the educational qualifications, experience, etc. that support your application. Please write "Application for RA in GREAT Project" at the top of cover/envelope.
Qualificatio?
•Associate (RA) Number of Post: 01 (one) Ph.D. in Forestry (FRM/NRM/WM) / Soil and water Engineering / Irrigation and drainage Engineering OR M.Sc. in Forestry (FRM/NRM/WM) / Soil and water Engineering / Irrigation and drainage Engineering with 4/5 years Bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship /Training/ other engagement and with at least one research paper in NAAS rated (> 4.0) journal
🎓 Terms and Conditions: (1) The job of RA is entirely contractual basis and full-time. (2) The above post is purely on temporary basis and will be automatically terminated with the end of the project. The recruitment will be extended as per the availability of the grant by abiding university norms. There is no provision for re-employment after termination of the project. (3) If the performance of the selected candidate found unsatisfactorily, his/her service could be terminated by the competent authority without prior notice even before the time period for
